I enjoy offering clinical supervision to other psychologists, counsellors and therapists who are reflective and keen to expand their potential. My approach to supervision is to offer a warm, sensitive and reflective space to ensure that my supervisee is comfortable and open in their discussions. Many supervisors can all too often stick to protocol driven work, which in my opinion is only so effective. A central part of development as an effective therapist is an understanding of personality, patterns and process issues which exist within the therapeutic space. We all bring something unique to therapy and my hope is to support supervisees to continue to develop their confidence in a period that can be emotionally testing, taxing and trying. With immense pressure within the NHS and many issues which arise when working privately it is pivotal to maintain ones own drive and to feel a sense of achievement as a therapist. My own work uses CBT, EMDR, ACT and mindfulness as it's core approaches. I heavily lean on principles of ACT within my supervision whilst working within a CBT framework.

I'm happy to have a brief chat about my supervision if you have any questions. Please feel free to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
