Dr Jo Robinson (Chartered and Registered Practitioner Psychologist)
My approach to clinical supervision
I offer a collaborative environment in which to explore your therapeutic work. I believe that supervision involves the therapist bringing all of themselves into the process and is a place to learn and develop as a practitioner.
My supervisory approach is based on the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision by Hawkins and Shohet. Within this model, you'll be encouraged to explore such factors as the interventions you deliver with clients, your therapeutic relationship with your clients, and any organisational issues which might impact upon the therapeutic process. Sessions are tailored to your needs as the supervisee.
My qualifications and experience
I have extensive experience of providing one-to-one and group therapeutic interventions to adults. Since 2013, I have supervised colleagues to deliver therapeutic interventions to individuals with mental health difficulties.
I hold the Certificate in Supervision from the Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy and Counselling.
