I am a qualified supervisor, working from the centre of Chester, or from the outskirts of Wrexham. I have experience working with both qualified and trainee counsellors. I work from a humanistic base, but am keen to develop a collaborative, supportive and trusting relationship where your preferred approach, skills, fears and development needs are welcomed, while always keeping the client at the heart of what we do. My inital training was in Hawkins & Shohet’s ‘Seven Eyed Model of Supervision’, and I am qualified to Advanced Certificate level. I am able to draw on all relevant experience in order to fully support you and your clients.

I offer individual or group supervision. This usually takes place face-to-face, but individual telephone or video sessions could be discussed if required. Sessions are for 1 or 1.5 hours, dependent on your requirements.

In addition to supervising client work, I also offer supervision of supervision, working with qualified supervisors to help manage their caseload and keep this separate from their work as counsellors.

Finally, I am also available to provide a more ad hoc supervisory support if required. This may be because an ethical conflict prevents you bringing a certain client to your regular supervisor. Maybe you would just like to explore your work with a fresh pair of eyes. Or perhaps you are seeking support in working with a client’s bereavement. Whatever the reason, I am more than happy to discuss any such one-off enquiries.

Individual supervision – £45 an hour

Group supervision – £45 an hour

Concession for trainee counsellors – £40 an hour (individual/group)

Payment can be made in cash, or by bank transfer prior to or in the session. If your employer is paying for your sessions, I can provide an invoice for payment after the session.
