I offer Clinical Supervision to Clinical Psychologists and other Mental Healthcare Professionals, either face to face in Newark on Trent, via telephone, Skype, Zoom or FaceTime, with availability outside of office hours where required.

I qualified in 2003 from the Leicester University Doctor of Clinical Psychology training course and have experience of supervising qualified psychologists, trainee clinical psychologists and other mental health workers. I am registered with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist.

My work experience is in the Adult Mental Health sector, primarily on a 1:1 basis using an Integrative approach. I am trained in Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and completed the STAR supervisor's training course at Leicester University in 2010.

I work hard to put supervisees at ease providing a safe, non-judgemental reflective space to explore their work. To feel comfortable to consider the challenges, alongside their successes. To consider their values and experiences and how this shapes their work, as well as to look at the impact their clinical work has on themselves. To promote continual professional development and self evaluation, helping clinicians to enhance their clinical practise.

For further information about me, my practise and my training, visit my website: www.newarkpsychology.co.uk

For an informal telephone discussion to see if we might be a good match for supervision, do get in touch: 07368 211325.

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
