Supervisor Jackie Hewitt MBACP and Supervisor
I am a qualified supervisor, having undertaken 30 hours of training in supervision from the Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy.
My supervision style is empathetic, and I always aim to identify your personal needs as a counsellor by providing a supportive, non-judgemental and open environment to build a positive supervisory alliance. The supervision model I use is Shohet & Hawkins seven eyed process which offers a holistic view within the supervision session and enables self-development and exploration in relation to your skills and a greater insight into your own capabilities as a therapist.
I am passionate about providing support and helping the personal development of counsellors at all stages of their career paths and also feel that working with a supervisor who understands your needs and can support your personal development and practice as a counsellor is vital to help you identify and build on your personal strengths.
If you feel that I would be able to accommodate your needs, please contact me for an informal chat or to arrange an informal meeting so that we can discuss the type of supervision you require, and your supervision needs in more depth.
