Supervision details
Supervision is a valuable resource for any therapist and I am enthusiastic about offering an engaged, reflective space for colleagues to explore their practice. I have completed BPS approved training in Essential Supervisory Skills. I work primarily with the aim of delving into the processes at play within the therapeutic and supervisory process, using Hawkins and Shohet's model of supervision to guide my practice. I welcome enquiries from qualified Counselling and Clinical Psychologists, Counsellors and Psychotherapists as well as trainee therapists. Upon making contact we can arrange a 15 minute phone call to discuss your supervisory needs and preferences, to decipher if I am the right supervisor for you.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
