I am an integrative supervisor. I work mainly with theory from systemic and psychodynamic practice. However I am not wedded to theory and am open minded and able to work with supervisees from a wide range of backgrounds.

The most important thing to me, is that supervision is conducted in a respectful and non-directive manner. I work hard to ensure that I do not impose my way of working onto anyone else's practice. However I do hope to inspire and encourage supervisees to try out new approaches and to discuss their work fully.

I am very aware of the importance of having good boundaries, working ethically and always keeping the client's safety  and wellbeing in mind as well as that of the supervisee.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

Pease let me know if you are in a wheelchair before you arrive so that I can move furniture to make a comfortable place for you. I am sorry, but I don't have a disabled toilet.

I am an integrative supervisor.
