If you are looking for a supportive, committed, and (sometimes) challenging supervisor who will support you in your work and development consider contacting me. My approach is relational and holistic: I am interested in what is going on for you, and between us in the room, as well as with the client themselves. I believe if you are well supported, in a trusting relationship, where you can explore difficult issues without shame, your clients are more likely to be safe and well cared for.
I have recently completed a UKCP diploma in Supervision. I can work within both BACP and UKCP ethical frameworks. If you are registered with a different body I would ask you to send me the relevant ethical code prior to our meeting.
My training is as an integrative psychotherapist combining TA, Gestalt, Object Relations, developmental and attachment theories, drama therapy and NLP. I have a background in consultancy, coaching training and management. My post qualification training has largely, but not exclusively, focused on trauma and working with young people.
My work includes working with refugees, working with primary and secondary aged children in schools and general practice. I charge £45 per session.
