WHAT IS SUPERVISION Supervision is a jointly agreed formal arrangement for counsellors and psychotherapists offering support, education and consultation with the aim to develop, assist and monitor the supervisee. Supervision aims to ensure the needs of the client are attended to within defined clear standards of ethical and professional practice. The effectiveness of the supervisee’s interventions are monitored and supported by a trained, experienced qualified counsellor with sufficient knowledge of the principles of supervision. SUPERVISOR In Supervision I work within a supportive, facilitative, encouraging , trusting, creative framework and reflective working relationship. . My knowledge allows me to introduce, where the supervisee may draw from to inform their learning, skills and knowledge of Person Centre therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Psychodynamic Approach, Mindfulness, Art Therapy and transactional analysis, attachment theory, specifically for the use of counselling. I have a Post graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Diploma in Integrative Supervision of Individual and Groups. I am Registered Member of the BACP working within their Code of Ethics. My client work experience is with individuals, children, young people, groups, couples and families and cover a broad spectrum of issues and dynamics.
