I am a qualified supervisor, PG Dip Consultative Supervision, and happy to offer both individual and group supervision, for those working with adult or CYP clients.

In my supervision practice I aim to work within a Humanisitic approach, placing importance on developing a respectful and trusting environment in which supervisees can thoroughly and safely explore and develop all aspects of their practice and be supported with dilemmas as they arise.

I have worked as a qualified Humanistic/Existential counsellor (BACP Accred)since 2006 and the experience I have gained is of great use now in supervision. I have worked primarily with young people, substance misuse, domestic violence and child protection, whilst alongside teaching on a variety of counselling courses at CAVC.

I am very familiar with the BACP Ethical Framework and consider good practice to be of paramount importance.

I am experienced at working with safeguarding issues, keeping my knowledge of relevant procedures up to date through my role as a lecturer in counselling. My teaching also helps me stay knowledgable on a variety of therapeutic models. I have experience if working with supervisees  from a variety of orientations.
