Supervision details
Hi, Im Emma and I'm an Integrative Clinical Supervisor & Psychotherapist.
I offer both Clinical and non Clinical Supervision, using skills from all modalities and I apply this across all of the work that I do.
I offer Supervision to Trainee and Qualified Counsellors, as well as, anyone working in a Therapeutic role, that requires additional monthly support. This ranges from Support Workers, Coaches, Mental Health Workers, Teachers, NHS staff to Criminal Justice staff.
Although Im based in St Austell, Cornwall, I provide all my sessions via Telephone and Online, this enables me to be more accessible to all, anywhere in the UK.
I have over 10 years experience and my experience so far in Supervision has been working with, Qualified Counsellors, external agencies, working with staff in therapeutic roles, but primarily, Trainee Counsellors, who are on their 100 hour Counselling placements. I have worked with many colleges and university Counselling training providers over the years, whereby I have gained a vast amount of experience and knowledge and the many requirements expected, in order for student counsellors to qualify and pass their placement.
As well as this, I also set up a Counselling CIC (community interest company) which has been running since 2014. This CIC provides student counsellors with a suitable, real life counselling role placement, with supervision and practice insurance all under one umbrella, in order to obtain their 100 client hours with ease.
I have a wide variety of experience and knowledge from multiple angles as a Supervisor, as well as, supporting newly qualified counsellors transition and progress into self employment, setting up and running a private practice.
Supervision services I offer:
1 hour - £55
1.5 hours - £72.50, or, 2 x 45 minute sessions, per month - £72.50

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
