Supervision details

I am a qualified Integrative Counselling Supervisor to both students and qualified counsellors and therapists working one to one or in small groups, I offer online and telephone appointments.

I can work with student counsellors, newly qualified therapists and fully established counsellors or helping proffessionals.

I have experience of supporting supervisees working with charitable organisations, schools, children, young people, adults, families and couples.

Supervision can take place online using Meets. Session frequency can be weekly, fortnightly or monthly and the supervision sessions are either 60 minutes or 90 minutes.

The cost of a 60 minute supervision sessions is £65, and a 90 minute session is £80.

I am offering student counsellors a reduced rate of £50 for 1.5 hrs ( 2x 45 minute session as per student supervision minimum requirements) .

My Approach,

I use a variety of theretical models to inform my work, but I am guided most  by Hawkins and Shohet 7 eyed-model of supervision, which encompases closer focus on all the relational interchanges involved between and surrounding the practitioner and the client or individual. I believe supervision is a working alliance based on openness, honesty and mutual respect, I offer a space where you can be heard, supported, challenged and nurtured. Together in a supportive space we will engage and discuss your work, your feelings and ways to increase your personal development and growth. I have therapeutic experience in working with charitable organisations, schools, children, young people, adults, families and couples.  I work integratively, and draw on person-centred, emotionally focussed therapy (EFT) and systemic theories into my practice. I ensure I complete an ongoing and diverse range of CPD to stay up-to-date with the latest legal and ethical changes as well as engaging in peer supervision to facilitate ongoing learning and development.

If you are interested in exploring working together, please do get in touch.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
