Deborah Kellaway - Counsellor, Coach and Supervisor

HOW I WORK

I work as an Integrative Humanistic Counsellor, which means that I am trained using Person-Centred, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt, as well as being trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I am also a qualified coach.  This enables me to work according to your own individual needs rather than a one size ‘fits-all’ approach.  My aim is to help you develop and grown in your own practice, whilst also ensuring that you are working safely and ethically.

LOCATION

I offer counselling in Highcliffe (with easy access from locations such as Bournemouth, Lymington, Christchurch and New Milton).  I also offer online and telephone supervision.

I offer counselling supervision to those either in training or qualified.  I have experience of working both in an agency as well as in private practice, bringing with it a wealth of experience.  Additionally, having managed over 60+ counsellors at any one time in a training placement service, I have understanding of trainees' and newly qualified counsellors' needs, as well as those that have more experience under their belt.  Supervision sessions can either be as a group or as an individual.  If you would like to know more about undertaking supervision with myself please contact me so we can discuss further.

Accessibility

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
