Myira Khan: BACP Accredited Counsellor & Supervisor (Leicester & Online)

Myira is a BACP Accredited Counsellor and qualified Supervisor.
Myira can support practitioners in their clinical practice and career development, including supporting their BACP Accreditation application. The supervision service includes supervising counsellors who work in various clinical settings as well as online counselling (Skype, telephone, email) and EAP counselling services.
Myira is experienced in working as both a volunteer and private counsellor, offering both short-term/brief and long-term counselling.
Myira has worked therapeutically with clients groups, including at a University Counselling Service supporting students, within a Domestic abuse support service supporting women who are or have been in an abusive relationship and with clients via EAP services.
Myira now runs her own successful private practice, offering face to face and online counselling via email, Skype and telephone, working with client groups across all ages, ethnicities, cultures and religions.
Myira works with adults, couples, children and young people.
Myira is also an experienced counselling lecturer/tutor, having taught students from Certificate/Level 2 up to Diploma/University Degree level. Myira is currently an Associate Tutor at the University of Leicester.
Myira is knowledgeable of the following modalities: Psychodynamic, Integrative, Person-centred, TA and Islamic Counselling.
Myira is also a Trustee on the BACP Board of Governors.
Supervision is available to trainee & qualified Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
Supervision can be accesed either face to face in Leicester or online via Skype.
Supervision fees are £40 per hour (or £60 for 1.5 hours of monthly supervision).
Supervision places are currently available during weekdays, evenings and weekends.
