Supervision details
I'm an accredited member of National Counsellors and Psychotherapists society NCPS who provide a framework for counsellors and supervision. It is part of the ethical framework for supervisors to be specifically trained. Some of the standards set by the NCPS include honesty, integrity, resiliency and self-care. I believe the above values are fundamental to be efficient and effective in the work we undertake. I'm a qualified integrative supervisor. I aim to provide a climate of diligence, interest and understanding to my supervisee’s everything I offer the client UPR, empathy and congruence with warmth. I have an interest in the dynamics of the relationship between my supervisee and her clients. How the emotional turbulence is processed between the client and the supervisee.
I aim to provide space for honesty and openness in the relationship with my supervisees to encourage explicit exploration and evaluation of the therapeutic work and relationship. I aspire to validate the work of the therapist and empower the therapist to find her own personal style and approach for therapy and promote growth. I offer online and telephone supervision as part of regular face-to-face supervision.
