Supervise'es are offered a free half an hour session to discuss their needs and requirements. This will enable us both time to ensure that we can form a positive working relationship.

Meeting the needs of a supervisee is as important as meeting the needs of a client. I offer discussion on theory, practice and training opportunities. Clinical practice is approached and supervised in line with the BACP Ethical Guidelines.

I offer talking supervision with the option to bring in using arts and creativity if required. This can help if you are feeling stuck with a client or work yourself using art or expressional therapy.

I will encourage you to examine your own work and encourage growth whilst maintaining a healthy life work balance. Supervisees are welcome to bring personal issues if appropriate, as well as work, to their supervision sessions.

Skype supervision is also available

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
