Supervision details
I offer one to one supervision and group supervision for counsellors, therapists and other professionals who work directly with clients and want space, time and support to reflect on their practice and their experience. My theoretical model is humanistic & integrative and I have extensive experience of working with counselling students and experienced practitioners, and helping professionals such as health and social care staff who are interested in reflective practice and continuing professional development. In this model (the seven eyed supervisor) I integrate both the relational and the systemic aspects of supervision. We focus on the relationships between client, therapist and supervisor. We will explore the client-counsellor relationship, the interventions used, the therapist's process, the therapist-supervisor relationship, and the context within which we all work. I have worked as a supervisor since 1998, and have experience as an individual and group supervisor in both private practice, in the community and within an NHS setting, where I worked with individuals, groups and multi-disciplinary teams. Through this I have developed a thorough understanding of supervision in an organisational context. See www.christadrennancounselling.co.uk/supervision for further information.
