Ashleigh Cormack - Masters Counselling, MBACP Accred. Counsellor & Supervisor

Perth, Perthshire, PH1

I'm a COSCA trained supervisor, a BACP accredited counsellor and a qualified Coach. I offer clinical supervision to practitioners working from a variety of orientations. I'll support each individual practitioner with respect to their chosen therapeutic modality.

Since 2004 I've worked with both adults and young people (aged 11 and over) with wide-ranging issues and in a variety of settings (private and voluntary organisations, higher education, secondary schools and youth services). Currently, in addition to my private practice, I'm the clinical lead for a private consultancy offering case management support to counsellors across Scotland.

I've trained in several therapeutic orientations, the main ones being Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, CBT and Mindfulness. I also work creatively using art based therapy techniques to help with exploration of issues that may be below the surface of awareness. I believe in working flexibly and collaboratively with each practitioner tailoring supervision to the needs of the individual and what they might find helpful or useful.

I'm experienced in both brief and long term therapeutic work.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
