Supervision details
I offer a warm, collaborative and non-judgemental space to explore supervisees' experiences and questions. I offer an integrative approach to supervision, drawing on systemic, psychodynamic and person-centred therapies predominately, although I am also trained in CBT. I am also a yoga teacher, with an interest in embodied/somatic approaches. Additionally, having worked extensively with children I am also happy to use more creative or art-based activities in supervision. I have worked in the NHS and third sector for the last 10 years, across a variety of settings, both adult and child. I have had my own private practice since 2016, currently working full time in private practice with adults and couples. I also offer resilience coaching for senior corporate executives. I have set up my own businesses and can coach supervisees in finding their niche and developing their private practice. I have experience supervising assistant, trainee and qualified psychologists, as well as therapists and professionals from other disciplines. I have further training in supervision and frequently attend CPD and trainings. I have also worked in academia, including as an external lecturer and Master's supervisor for University College London (UCL). My fees are £100 for 50 minutes. I currently (October 2021) have some limited spaces available for supervision.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
