Clinical Supervision for Therapists, Counsellors and Related Professionals

Supervision is one of the key requirements of safe clinical practice.

Clinical supervision provides a safe place for supervisors and supervisees to explore practice issues and to develop and grow both personally and professionally.  New Life Counselling respects, endorses and supports the value of supervision.  We can provide individual and/ or group supervision to counsellors not employed by New Life Counselling.

All supervisors are experienced, accredited practitioners and have relevant and recognised training in counselling supervision.

The team includes integrative and person centred counsellors, as well as creative therapists.

Our staff have experience in working with adults, in school settings (primary and post primary) and with young children.

We have premises available in our New Life Counselling offices in Belfast, but may also be able to arrange supervision appointments in other locations outside of Belfast.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
