As counsellors our client work is both rewarding and challenging. Supervision is essential when working with others in a therapeutic capacity to ensure our ethical responsibilites are adhered to and also to support our clients in working with the many reasons why they come to therapy. This often includes trauma, both the more obvious traumas but also early life, developmental or relational trauma which impacts our emotional, physical and mental health.

It is also important as therapists that we have the opportunity for open and honest self-reflective practice and ensure we offer ourselves empathy and self-compassion that supports our self-care, growth and development.

As an integratively trained supervisor, I work with both trainee and experienced counsellors.

Please contact me if you would like to arrange an initial session to meet and discuss what you would like and need from supervision.

Accessibility

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
