I have worked at Consultant Clinical Psychologist level both privately and in the NHS, supervising Clinical Psychologists and other MDT staff.

I practice primarily from a CBT perspective, but provide an integrative approach in my clinical work with clients as well as in my supervision, considering the client in their wider system.

I am highly trained in the treatment of  mental health difficulties including mood and anxiety disorders, but have also worked extensively with other challenging presentations including complex PTSD, OCD, BDD and so on.

In the NHS I managed a Clinical Neuropsychology service, clinically supervising my team of 8A Clinical Psychologists.

I am more than happy to supervise general mental health clinicians, but do have expert training and knowledge in working with clients with neurodevelopmental, neurological and neurodegenerative conditions, as well as other health conditions, and can provide comprehensive supervision in these areas also.

I provide formal supervision on an ad-hoc as needed and on a fixed session basis (or a mixture of both depending on your caseload), Supervision is provided in increments of 30 minutes, but of course I am happy to discuss brief queries in between sessions. I provide supervision both face-to-face (from Brighter Spaces, Islington) or via telephone.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

I provide home visits in the local and surrounding areas for health and neurology clients who are unable to access a first floor clinic room. Please contact me for further details.
