I am an experienced Integrative Counsellor and have been providing Counselling Supervision since training with Cascade in 2012.

Therapy is demanding and rewarding work and good supervision is essential. I will work with you in a way that meets your needs and is appropriate to your level of training and experience.

I see supervision as a joint endeavour in which I will work with you, enabling growth, building confidence and competency. Together we reflect on your practice, gain insights, and explore possibilities. I offer a space for you to explore your work with openness and honesty knowing that you will be encouraged and supported and that your successes will be celebrated. The aim is for you to be practising in a safe and effective manner (including taking care of yourself) and ultimately ensure that you are of benefit to your clients and feel confident in your competency.

Although a lot of my counselling work has been focused on trauma I have experienced working with a wide range of issues including bereavement, low self esteem, anxiety and depression and many more. I am also experienced in working with people who have a mental health diagnosis.

Generally I offer supervisees 1 ½ session at 4 weekly intervals with phone contact as required in between. For this I charge £50. However your needs may be different and we would need to then negotiate a rate. Likewise for student counsellors; a reduced rate may be negotiated.

Please contact me if you have any questions or you would like to book an initial meeting to explore your supervision needs.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
