Supervision details

I am BACP accredited and work in private practice with adults. I specialise in working with anxiety, stress and relationship issues. I offer supervision to counsellors, psychotherapists and coaches. My approach to working is integrative, incorporating elements from person centred and psychodynamic approaches as well as coaching and ACT. Through supervision I seek to create a space for you to explore all aspects of your client work in relation to how you are approaching and working with what your clients are bringing, how the work may be impacting you both personally and professionally and ensuring any issues are being addressed in a safe and ethical way. I seek to work in a collaborative and creative way to help you reflect, learn and grow in a supportive supervisory relationship. Please contact me if you have any queries or would like to find out more. Fees are £60.00 per hour, £80.00 per 1.5 hours.

BABCP
British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP)

The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
