Supervision details
I am entered onto the British Psychological Society's Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors and offer supervision to counsellors and counselling psychologists who are either undertaking their training or are fully qualified. As part of this work I am an approved Coordinating Supervisor with the BPS in supporting counselling psychology trainees who are undertaking the Qualification in Counselling Psychology, or 'independent route' to the award.I also offer professional development consultancy for qualified psychologists and counsellors.
British Psychological Society
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
