Supervision details

I am a longstanding practioner as a Psychologist working within the NHS  working mainly within Adult mental health and also various chronic health areas more recently. I have been supervising Trainee Psychologists, Psychologists and Counsellors as part of my NHS role and privately; and could offer supervision to those interested. My main therapy approaches I  use and can supervise on are:  CBT ( recent finished the NESS CBT supervision training), Mindfulness CBT and am starting to explore more the skills of ACT ( accpetance and Commitment Therapy). If you are interested in finding out more about me and the approaches I use go to my website www.psychologicaltherapiesdumfries.com. I can be contacted probably best via email karina _woldt@hotmail.com or via phone 01848200339 best days for phone contact are still Thursdays and Fridays. Via text 07507703818. I would charge for individual supervision £60  ( for an hour) £80 for 1 1/2 hour slot . As it is likely to go over 1 hour period but this can be negotioable depending on your income and situation and where you would want  supervision to take place ( e.g. if you were willing to travel to my home base).

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

Wheelchair user access info
Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
