Supervision details
I am an Ascentis qualified supervisor working within the BACP Ethical Framework guidelines. I trained in January 2012 to April 2012 and have supervised supervisees through Cruse Bereavement Care. The model I work within supervision is taken and influenced by: ‘Hawkins and Shohet’ a ‘Cyclical Model by: Page and Wosket’ and ‘seven tasks of supervision’ by Carroll, helping supervisees with theory, skills and practice. I work with experienced practitioners, trainees and newly qualified therapists. Although it is making sure client’s safety is paramount within supervision, I feel passionate in helping supervisees enjoy the experience within placements, college/university and enjoy helping them develop competence in this area and expand into their own chosen areas of working following qualification.
