Established Humanistic-Integrative Counsellor, Supervisor & Tutor

I have many years of experience supervising both individuals and groups for a national charity; as well as seeing supervisees within my private practice.

I was trained using the seven-eyed model of supervision, which continues to guide my work with my supervisees.  However (as with our clients) I tailor the work to meet individual needs and preferred ways of working, and I am open to bringing in creative work and other methods where desirable and beneficial.

Supervision Fees:

Initial Meeting - I feel it is vital to find a supervisor you feel comfortable to work with, and therefore offer an initial meeting to find out if we would be a good match prior to agreeing any work together.  This is charged at £25 and lasts for up to 1 hour.

Individual Supervision - £45 per hour

Concession rate for Student Counsellors or Private Practice Start-Up's - £35 per hour

Group Supervision - prices by discussion dependant on the number of supervisees and hours required (maximum of 4 people per group).

Due to the current uncertainty all appointments at present are being undertaken on-line via Zoom (which meets both BACP and Data Protection rules).  Once I am able to return to face-to-face work, all supervisees will have the choice to remain working on-line or move to face-to-face sessions as is their preference.

Specialist Areas:

Having both worked as a counselling tutor, and supervised many students on placement, I feel I am very well placed to support student counsellors.  I feel I have a unique insight into the support needed traversing this challenging time, and building confidence whilst finding your own style of working.    I also understand the requirements for completing reports, etc. for colleges and training providers.

I am experienced in running therapeutic support groups, and understand the different skills and support needed to manage this work both personally and professionally.

I am passionate about transpersonal work and supporting others to undertake this deeper work within themselves and with clients.  If you consider yourself a ‘healer’, ‘empath’, or ‘heart-based counsellor’ I could be the supervisor for you!

Note:  I am not able to supervise work with couples, family therapy, or therapy with those under 18 years of age.

Please do visit my website www.lj-cs.co.uk or contact me for an informal chat if you have any questions or would like to book an initial meeting.
