I am an experienced and trained supervisor,who has been offering individual and group supervision for 20 years.

I have experience in supervising within large organisations within the education and social care field. I have also supervised managers working in the independent corporate world.

I have supervised trainees in a University settings as well as offering supervision to counselling students on an individual basis.

I have worked for several independent agencies offering supervision for counsellors working with children and young people both in school settings and independently.

I also offer supervision to those who work in related professions,such as social workers,nurses,school pastoral care teams and those in charge of staff teams within organisations.

I use systems theory in the way I think about the work,as well as integrating creative technique in the exploration of supervisory dilemmas.

I have  many years’ experience of supervising counsellors (both experienced and trainees) individually and in groups

I have also provided clinical supervision/reflective practice to other professionals (social workers, probation officers) and organisational supervision to groups/teams.

I have been working as a supervisor for 8 years and have a Diploma in Relationship Based Supervision of Individuals and Groups.  My training was based on Inskipp and Proctor’s model of supervision and integrated using creative approaches to the formative, normative and restorative functions of supervision.

I have extensive experience of working within a school and a good understanding of the challenges counsellors face in this area.    

My approach to supervision is interactive, creative and underpinned by psychodynamic thinking.  I offer a safe place for my supervisees to be contained, challenged and to reflect on their work.


£50 per 60 minute session for individuals. (Student rates can be negotiated).

I am an experienced clinical supervisor working with qualified and trainee counsellors. As a counselling trainer I have particular experience of working with the challenges and needs of trainees and provide reports required by training centres.

My approach to supervision draws on a variety of models of supervision especially the Robin Shohet 7-eyed model which helps you to reflect on your practice from a number of different perspectives.

I also provide supervision for Organisations to support staff in their roles.

Individual supervision £50 per 60 minutes

Group supervision £100 per 60 minutes (up to 4 people)
