Supervisor Pete Brown
I offer individual systemic reflective supervision, or group supervision, to trainee family therapists, family therapists, and organisations working with families. I also offer supervision to counsellors and therapists, from other modalities, who wish to bring or increase a systemic perspective into their work.
Please email for further details and to enquire about rates (which I subsidise for trainees).
More information about my interests and qualifications:
As well as being an experienced Family Therapist, I am interested in integrating parenting advice into family therapy and I have a particular interest and experience in NVR (Non-Violent Resistance) therapy. I integrate NVR into my work with private clients, where appropriate, and I regularly run and organise NVR parent courses in the NHS in South London.
I also visit family therapy teams in the NHS to offer short workshops about children's participation in family sessions, encouraging teams to try 'reflecting puppet shows' or 'reflecting role plays'.
I qualified as a supervisor at KCC in 2008 obtaining the Post Graduate Diploma in Systemic Supervision & Training (DSST). I completed the Post- Grad Cert in CYP-IAPT (parenting training) Supervision in 2015. I am registered with AFT and UKCP as an approved supervisor and trainer.
