I would describe my supervision style as integrative with a psychodynamic foundation. The most important part of counselling and supervision is the relationship and the ability to build up trust. Without that, there is no basis to work from. When trust has been achieved, that enables you to feel safe enough to explore your work. The role of the supervisor is not one of criticism but one of care and support. It will be challenging at times but from there, growth will be achieved as you are able to develop your practice.
I have many years experience within private practice and the voluntary sector. I have been the Clinical Manager of a service and have for a long time, facilitated the assessment training.
I am a registered member of the BACP and I offer supervision at £45 per hour or £60 for 1.5hrs.
If you would like to get in touch, please contact me and if you like, we can have a conversation on the phone. From there I offer an introductory session after which we can both decide the way forward from there.
