Supervision details

I am a BPS certified clinical supervisor (RAPPS) with experience in supervising trainee and qualified counselling and clinical psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors. I provide both individual and group supervision. In my therapeutic approach I focus a lot on process and I use a combination of models, such as Schema Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), CBT and psychodynamic therapy (particularly attachment theory and object relations). I also integrate elements from various experiential approaches, such Voice Dialogue, Internal Family systems (IFS) and Psychodrama. As a supervisor, I will encourage you to reflect a lot on your own process and responses in your work with your clients. I find this to be one of the most important elements in our work as therapists. If you are not open to this, we might not be a good fit. For individual or group supervision please contact me for further information.

If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.
