Masha Bennett MSc Psych Trauma UKCP Reg EMDR Accred
I have been offering clinical supervision to health and care professionals since 2005, in the contexts of addiction recovery, mental health and counselling/psychotherapy. I completed the Certificate in Supervision with the Northern Guild for Psychotherapy www.northernguild.org in 2013, am an approved supervisor with the Neurolinguistic Psychotherapy and Counselling Association, and am listed on the UKCP register of supervisors.
I am also an approved Sandplay Therapy supervisor with the Association for Integrative Sandplay Therapy. Additionally, I offer supervision and mentoring to practitioners and training of EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), and mental health professionals of varied backgrounds.
My supervision style is integrative and adapted to each individual supervisee's needs, often incorporating a range of creative approaches, such as working with metaphor, including sandplay and art, where appropriate. I am a trauma specialist and all my work is underpinned by the principles of trauma-informed care.
I have experience across a wide range of therapeutic approaches, and am happy to work with supervisees practising any modality.
My therapeutic experience is both with adults and children, using Neurolinguistic Psychotherapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, Emotional Freedom Techniques, Sandplay Therapy, Hypno-Psychotherapy, Comprehensive Resource Model, Therapeutic Art, Mindfulness, Sound Therapy. I have particular interest in working through creative media (sand, art, sound), with complex trauma/PTSD and spiritual development.
A limited number of places is available for new supervisees. At the moment I only accept supervisees who are fully qualified, and not trainees. Supervision can be available face-to-face, via Zoom online conferencing, or telephone.
My supervision fee is £65 per one hour/60 min session.
