I am BACP Accredited Counsellor with a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision (L6) CPCAB

My theoretical understanding and practice of supervision is informed by Inskipp and Proctor's model of the Normative, Formative and Restorative functions and tasks of supervision. Additionally I draw on Hawkins and Shohet's Seven Eyed Supervisor model.

I believe mutual review and feedback is key to developing and evaluating the supervisory relationship.

My experiencehas included working with both trainees and experienced counsellors either on an individual basis or within groups.

I also provide supervision on behalf of placements and companies.

I have worked with practitioners from a range of approaches including CBT, Humanistic -Person-centred, Gestalt, T.A, Psychodynamic, Systemic.

My practice is based within 2 miles of Farnborough Technical College and 5 miles from Guildford College.

Please feel free to make further contact for more information on supervision and how it can both help and enhance your professional practice.

I offer concessions to trainee counsellors or those working in a voluntary capacity.

Accessibility

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
