I provide a safe and supportive supervisory environment. I offer what I hope will be an enlivening space for a full exploration of all aspects of your clinical work, grounded in a clear ethical framework. I work as a supervisor in a variety of settings, including rigorous BPC accredited training environments. As such I have helped practitioners at the start of their careers integrate fundamental competencies into their practice. I also work with experienced practitioners offering a reflective space for insight and development. I have benefited from supervising a broad range of clinical work, having supervised for agencies supporting adult survivors of abuse, as well as more generally in services offering counselling to the wider community. I am experienced in supervising therapists individually, and have worked with therapists and counsellors from a range of modalities, from counselling psychologists to practitioners using integrative, person- centred or psychodynamic approaches. I have found my own orientation, which is psychoanalytic, has augmented other approaches well, being at times a useful additional lens. I aim to offer a grounded supervisory space which fosters openness, is collaborative and hopefully energising. I have wide ranging clinical experience myself, in both long and short term work as well as in the field of assessment. I also train and lecture on BPC accredited trainings in the south- east.
