Supervision
I am a qualified supervisor and have had eight years working with supervisee’s within the Cruse Bereavement care organisation. As a Person Centred Counsellor I take this approach into my supervision work and have supervised a range of supervisee’s from University placement setting to experienced counsellors.
Supervising can be a challenge and I have experienced many issues that are wide ranging in my work as a supervisor. I offer individual supervision or group work and I am always happy to talk through the options that may be best suited for your requirements.
As a person centred therapist I put great value in the relationship between client and therapist and also between supervisor and supervisee, with this in mind I can offer an initial session to give us both a feel of how we might work together, there would be no commitment on your part as to continuing our supervision after this initial session.
As a therapist / counsellor I have worked over the last ten years with Cruse Bereavement Care, Private practice and also within the NHS with I.A.P’s work. Having had this varied client load has meant that I have experienced a range of supervisors that have all added to my experience as a supervisor; this I feel has been invaluable with my growth in supervision work. I have also experienced group supervision as a therapist which has been highly beneficial to my own supervision group work.
