Supervisor Lou Allen Counsellor MBACP, Registered, Accredited. Dip Supervision

I am a Registered, Accredited Integrative Counsellor, and qualified Clinical Supervisor working in private practice in Central Exeter and Holcombe, near Dawlish. As a counsellor I work with individuals, couples, children, young people, families and organisations. I worked with children and families in Education for over 25 years, as a Primary and Nursery Teacher. From 2003 to 2013, I supported families with children who were at risk of exclusion. I supervise experienced and trainee Counsellors, as well as non counsellors working in organisations (for example, Teachers; School Nurses).I worked as a Volunteer Counsellor with Cruse Bereavement Care for 6 years, and I was a Supervisor for 2 years, providing both group and individual supervision. My approach is integrative, drawing on my years of experience and skills as a counsellor, teacher and body therapist. My practice is also strongly influenced by my training and passion in a creative, transpersonal approach with clients and supervisees, so I often offer creative ways of working, such as sand tray, sculpting, use of images, drawing and writing.I view the supervisory process as an interactive process, where the supervisee has the opportunity to reflect on client work and receive support, feedback and guidance. Supervision also helps us to work with clients in a safe and ethical way, to gain confidence and ethical competence, whilst providing a space to feel heard, supported and valued in our work.I'm happy to use online supervision with either Skype or Vsee.

Fees:

Individuals: £50 for 60 minutes, £75 for 90 minutes

Organisations: £60 for 60 minutes, £90 for 90 minutes 

I offer a limited number of concessions for trainee counsellors
