Supervision details
I am a Clinical Psychologist working in the NHS and in the private sector in the North east of England. I offer supervision across a range of therapies for clinicians working in psychosexual therapy, personality disorder and mental health. I hold a qualificaition in supervision from Newcastle University.I have a relaxed and informal style, which holds the boundary between supervision and personal therapy firmly, but encourages reflective and transformative practice in the supervisee and their work.I have clinic space to which supervisees can travel, or I can travel to undertake supervision at an additional cost. Supervision costs £50 for 50 minutes.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
