I am a Senior BACP-accredited counsellor and have trained in the humanistic tradition as a Person-Centred therapist.  I completed my counselling training with Persona (now Stirling University Counselling Service) in 2000.  I have been supervising since 2005 having completed a Certificate in Person-Centred Supervision with PCT Britain.  I have experience of working with counselling trainees who are engaged in Person-Centred and Integrative courses, as well as with experienced counsellors.  I work in a variety of settings, including privately, with EAPs, charities and in NHS Primary Care.  I have a particular interest in Trauma and Neurobiology.  As a supervisor, I focus on the experience of the therapist and on the growth and development of the therapeutic ability of the supervisee through the supervision relationship. For me, supervision provides a growth-promoting setting that enables and encourages the supervisee to find his/her own style and identify areas for exploration and development.  Through supervision I aim to provide an open, non-judgemental and empathic environment that is both questioning and supportive, and encourages the development of congruence.  My fees are £40 per hour.

Accessibility

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
