I am a highly skilled and experienced accredited counsellor and counselling supervisor with over 15 years experience in the counselling field, and almost ten years experience of counselling supervision.
I work with trainee and qualified, experienced counsellors facilitating their personal and professional development in the counselling arena. I work competently and effectively with supervisees from a variety of different models and I see myself as eclectic in my approach with the person centred model underpinning my work.
My objective is to support, educate and manage my supervisees so that their practice skills are enhanced. I believe I am effective in my practice and I am committed to the personal and professional development of the individuals that I work with.
Over the past twelve years, I have worked as an outreach counsellor for a respected counselling charity within the Third Sector. I have knowledge and understanding of an eclectic range of theories, techniques and applications for both individual and group counselling and supervision.
I have gained over 12,000 contact hours between my counselling and supervision.
I have worked in a variety of settings such as, G.P.s surgeries, The P.C.T. Connexions, schools and in my own private practice.
I have facilitated the professional development of my supervisees, enabling them to develop their practice skills and be more effective within their work. I have facilitated supervision and P.D. groups.

Although I am mainly Person Centred, I have undertaken other training and workshops in other models such as C.B.T. Gestalt and T.A.
I have regular supervision, at least once a month, more if required.
I am an accredited MBACP and UKRCP registered and I abide by the BACPs Ethical Framework for Good Practice.
