I am a BACP accredited counsellor and trained as a supervisor with Cruse Bereavement Care. My counselling training was person centred but I have studied widely and integrated other approaches into my work. In 2019 I obtained a diploma in transpersonal couples therapy. I have particular expertise in bereavement and pre-bereavement but also work generally with individuals and couples. I am an experienced bereavement and loss trainer and have previously managed teams of counsellors in both a hospice and a women's counselling service.  I also have experience in working with groups and can supervise groupwork as well as individual work.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

Wheelchair user access

It is a short walk of about 20 metres from the car park to my room. There is one small step into the house and my room is quite small.
