I have been providing supervision to counsellors and psychotherapists for more than 15 years. I aim for a balance between supervision of the practitioner and supervision of the client material presented. I combine psychodynamic understanding with an appreciation of humanistic and action-oriented approaches. Supervision will usually be individual but small group supervision (3 or 4 practitioners) can also be arranged.

A speciality is helping practitioners with angry and/or violent clients, having supervised counsellors for some years at both The Everyman Project  and The Violence Initiative. With more than 25 years experience of leading ongoing groups and one-off workshops, I also bring particular expertise to the supervision of groupwork. I am accredited as a supervisor by the National Counselling Society.

To discuss the possibility of arranging supervision please call 0800 3134844.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
