Kathy Mitchell studied with Cambridge Supervision Training and holds the ASIIP Certificate in Integrative Supervision:

I am able to offer counselling supervision either to experienced or trainee counsellors from various theoretical orientations. and have a particular interest in working with Person - Centred and Adlerian practitioners.

Supervision for the counselling or psychotherapy practitioner is an essential part of taking care of oneself, of ongoing self-awareness and commitment to development.

I provide a safe space for the counsellor to explore his or her work in the context of a mutual and respectful relationship. The work we do together is likely to be supportive, reflective and challenging.

I also recognise the importance of supervision in my own work and, as well as attending to the needs of my clients through supervision, I meet regularly with a SOS (Supervision of Supervision Group) to review and consider my work as a supervisor. If you are seeking supervision and would like to explore the possibility of working with me, please call to arrange a meeting.

Accessibility

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
