Thank you for visiting my profile.

I have been working as a counsellor since 2007.  I then felt as part of my personal development that it was time to take the next step and train to become a supervisor as I had been supervising trainee counsellors and support workers, both individually and in groups in a charity that supports families where children had been sexually abused or raped.  I therefore attended an integrative supervision diploma course with CPPD and successfully qualified in February 2016.

I can offer individual or group supervision to either qualified or trainee counsellors.  Supervision will be tailored to the individual needs of each supervisee, which will reflect where they are in their practice.  I will take into account the work setting, theoretical model and supervision needs, as well as looking at your further training needs.  I work in a relational way to help mirror the relational work between you and your clients.

I charge £50 for a one hour session and £60 for one and a half hours.  However, I am able to offer lower cost supervision to counselling trainees.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
