Katy Baldock UKCP, MA, Dipls Psych, Adv. Psych, Supervision.
I am a UKCP Recognised Supervisor and a UKCP Recognised Training Supervisor. Accordingly, I am qualified to supervise both experienced therapists, as well as early career therapists (1-5 years post registration), and trainees.
I understand that meeting our clinical supervision needs is often what makes the difference between a thriving, sustaining, enriching and effective practice, and a difficult, stressful and draining one. I supervise psychotherapists, counsellors and spiritual directors from a wide range of theoretical backgrounds, both UKCP and BACP counsellors and therapists. My work is integrative, with a strong blend of transpersonal underpinning and psychodynamic exploration. I have worked as a trainer and supervisor of trainee therapists at the CCPE since 2004. Furthermore, I tutor and lecture on an MA in psychotherapy research, and am undertaking doctoral research in to psychotherapeutic presence and ecopsychology. This keeps me in touch with the evidence base of the work, which I consider to be very important. I love supervising, and I aim to make the sessions supportive, challenging, nourishing and enjoyable. I have space available to take on supervisees in Buckinghamshire, and also I can supervise via Skype/other online platforms.
