MSc UKCP Couples Counsellor

Supervision details

I offer Person-centred Supervision by the hour or 90 minutes to the frequency you wish.  I offer a supportive, ethical and respectful process for you to develop practice.   I also work with Integrative practitioners and open to working with therapists of differing approaches. I aim to create and emotionally safe, supervisory relationship, respectful of both you and your clients, in which you can explore your experiences, needs and challenges as a Counsellor. For qualified counsellors, I work with your process and collaborate with you, attentive to your explicit needs, whilst holding the ethical framework lightly, in the background. For trainees, there are always the needs of your place of learning and your placement to consider. I have experience in facilitating group supervision so am able to accommodate more than one person, should two or three of you wish to work together. I work to the BACP and UKCP Ethical Frameworks. My own regular fortnightly supervision, group supervision and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) continue to hold and inform my practice. I offer a reduced rate for counselling trainees. Am happy to discuss your needs briefly by telephone prior to an initial 40 minute meeting for which I do charge £15.  During that meeting we can both get a sense of the other and decide if we feel we are both well suited to work together in a supervisory relationship. I will offer telephone supervision or online supervision to supplement an already functioning supervisory relationship on occasions of bad weather or dilemma which needs urgent, extra attention.
