Qualified Supervisor :  BACP Accredited PostGrad Diploma of Supervision

I offer Integrative Supervision to Counsellors, Trainees, Students and others working in the helping professions.

Former supervisory positions include clinical supervisor for Kenward Trust counsellors working with Alcohol and Substance Misuse residents at their Rehabilitation centre.  My current position is Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Lead to counsellors at The Bariatric Consultancy, Dartford Kent.

It is my experience that Supervisees respond well to Hawkins and Shohet's "Normative, Formative and Restorative" model of Supervision.

I also work to guidelines stated in the 'Competence Framework for Supervision' (commissioned by the Care Services Improvement Partnership (CSIP)) which provides a set of competencies for Supervision that describes the knowledge and skills necessary for effective delivery of Psychological Therapies.  Much of the content of this framework is pantheoretical, that is, it is relevant for Counsellors and Psychotherapists from all psychotherapeutic orientations.

Please call for Supervision rates (discounted for Trainees and/or in first year since qualifying) on 07706 430466

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
