  • >Supervisor Allyson Pascoe MBACP (Accredited)

I am a professionally qualified supervisor, and provide supervision for both qualified and trainee counsellors.
The basis of my supervision work is Person Centred in that I offer the core conditions of the approach. However, I integrate other approaches, including psychodynamic, Gestalt and CBT work where it is felt to be of benefit to the client and supervisee. I encourage each supervisee to look at their interaction with clients, to examine transference and counter transference issues; at strategies that could support client work and how the counsellor can address his or her needs.
I aim to offer a non-judgemental environment where counsellors can share openly their concerns, vulnerabilities and successes in order to work effectively and ethically with clients.
I work with small groups and individuals.
£50 per hour, and £65 per 1.5 hours, with concessionary rates available in specific cases. Please enquire.
I offer a no-obligation initial meeting of up to an hour, free of charge. There is no obligation attached to this meeting; it is simply a time to meet and see if we will work well together and whether I can meet your individual requirements.
Your fee includes support with coursework, viva and accreditation material, agreed phone/email contact you might want between sessions, and photocopies/resources/book borrowing.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

Wheelchair user access Unspecified

I work from a ground floor room with ensuite facilities.

I aim to be flexible in the timing of appointments in order to meet clients' personal and work commitments. I can offer weekday appointments between 8am and 9pm and Sunday mornings.
