Hello, I am a qualified supervisor with a Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy Supervision Practice from Macclesfield Counselling and Training Centre.

I would like to provide you with some information about my background. I trained as an Integrative Counsellor and obtained an Advanced Diploma in Counselling from Manchester University in 2001. Since then I have worked as a Counsellor in a variety of settings - predominantly in schools and the NHS as an Infertility Counsellor but also for a Local Authority EAP programme, Further Education and University Counselling Services and for the Co op supporting employees who had experienced PTSD. I have maintained my registration as a Social Worker and worked for 9 years in a Community Mental Health Team supporting adults experiencing a wide range of mental health difficulties.

I am currently providing supervision to counsellors working in schools, Women's Centres and Rape Crisis settings.

I aim to draw on my own practice experience and supervision training to support your counselling practice. I hope to offer you guidance and support in a friendly, secure and creative environment, giving you the opportunity to talk freely about your clients, your relationship with your client and the work that you are doing togethe.

As with my counselling practice, I aim to offer a flexible service in a quiet and comfortable place and competitive rates.
