Skype, Zoom and Telephone Supervision Available.  Flexible Diary to suit your needs Couples, Individuals, EAP's Alternative/Holistic Therapists As a fully qualified Supervisor I offer supervision within an integrative model to individuals, pairs and groups. My experience covers 22 years and includes individuals, young people, couples and families. My original orientation is psychodynamic but through my experience with many supervisees and personal development I am adequately versed in other models e.g. systemic, person centred, existential, humanistic and am always very willing to learn and further develop alongside my supervisees and the theoretical experience they bring along with their supervision needs. Offering a space for Supervisees to reflect upon the content and process of their work, development of skills, theory and understanding and to feel validated and supported as a person as well as a therapist. The model of supervision also incorporates space to consider Professional Development as well as caseload management. Adhering to the BACP Ethical Framework, supervision is carried out to ensure Client and Supervisee well being. Individuals £70 per hour Concessions negotiated Pairs £80 per hour = £40 each Group £90 per hour (minimum 3 members) £30 per hour each additional member Supervisee Testimonials  “As a Supervisor, Lindy is always encouraging and supportive. I find her insights creative and sometimes her challenges have really helped me in my work with clients.”       Annie M  “Lindy has been my Supervisor since 2005.  During this period I have valued her support and guidance.  I have especially felt this at times when there have been difficulties and problems.  I have not been left to carry these issues on my own.  Lindy offers a me a safe space for exploration and reflection in a way that I can utilise for myself as well as for my clients. “    Sandra  “Lindy had the unenviable task of taking me on as a supervisee, following my having enjoyed a 15 year relationship with my previous supervisor, who had sadly, become ill.  Lindy was incredibly understanding of the difficulties I was experiencing ‘making that move ‘  and once I had begun supervision with her I felt like I had worked with her for ages.  As a Supervisor she is warm, caring and compassionate, yet extremely insightful and challenging in a straightforward and kindly manner.  I feel very privileged to be working with her. “     Sue E  “Lindy gave me professional, clear and above all, supportive supervision.  I learnt much and appreciate how she helped me keep my boundaries with difficult patients.  Lindy provides a facilitative environment which allows for quiet reflection.”  Daphne  “Lindy was attuned with the clients I was presenting and this made the process of supervision fluid and organic. She added sensitive and intuitive comments which made me think about my clients in a different way. This enabled me to reflect on my practice and gave me an awareness of issues that are present in the work.”  EK   ”I find you interested and supportive and each time, while talking, we touch different important aspects of my work. There is always something which stays with me to think it over afterwards.  It thus deepens my own understanding and summing up of both my clients' complex psycho dynamics and the way I handle their psycho therapeutic processes. What I cherish most is the atmosphere of freedom of thought and expression and the lack of any criticism that I experience while working with you. Thank you”     Vessela   “Just wanted to say thanks for meeting with me this morning, after a good few weeks of working in an environment where people don't understand counselling, it was good to have your direction and insights into where to go with my client, and I have taken away a lot from the appointment!”  Anonymous

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
